Configuring Form and Survey Redirect Options in GrowthMap
After a Contact submits a form or survey
You have the option to:
- display a Message
- redirect the contact and Open a URL
- display an Order Confirmation page once payment is successful
Key Steps
- Access the GrowthMap platform and navigate to Sites → Forms → Builder
- Or Sites → Surveys → Builder
- Select the form/survey you want to configure by clicking on the three dot menu and choose Edit
- Click on Style and Options at the top right, then locate the Options menu.
Open the On Submit section to view the available options.
Customize the submission action:
- To display a custom Message, edit the default message
- To redirect to a different page, select Open URL and enter the desired URL
- Save the changes to apply the configured submission action
Using (or Overriding) the default Submission action for a form/survey in GrowthMap
Is your form or survey not acting the way you expect it to?
When you share the direct link to a form, the contact will experience the default submission action after they complete your form.
However, when you embed a GrowthMap form on another page, website or funnel, you may have the option to change what happens after a contact submits your form or survey. See the example below, where we have selected the form on our landing page.
Under Button Actions → Redirect action we have the option to use the default action from this specific survey OR if we prefer, we can choose to redirect the contact to a specific URL, or simply send them to the next step in our GrowthMap funnel.
If your form isn't doing what you want it to do, try checking the Submit options in the form/survey itself, and make sure to also check the page or funnel where your form is being used.
By following these steps, you and your team can effectively configure form and survey redirect options in GrowthMap to optimize user experience and track conversions efficiently.
