Adding and Managing Users in Your GrowthMap Account

Learn how to add new users to the Growth Map account, manage their permissions, and update their settings as needed.

Accessing User Settings:

  1. Log in to your Growth Map account.
  2. Ensure you are in the correct sub-account where you want to add the new user.
  3. Navigate to the settings and click on "My Staff."

Adding a New User:

  1. Click on "Add Employee."
  2. Fill in the required information for the new user, including name, email, and phone number.
  3. Setting a password is optional as a temporary password will be sent via email for the user to log in initially.
  4. Configure user permissions based on the tasks they will be performing within the account.

User Permissions:

  1. Toggle permissions on or off based on the user's role and responsibilities.
  2. Consider enabling or disabling features like workflows, access to assigned data, and calendar configurations.

User Roles:

  1. Assign the user as an admin or a regular user based on their responsibilities.
  2. Admins have additional privileges like creating new users, exporting/importing data, and managing billing.

Additional Settings:

  1. Adjust voicemail settings and available hours based on the user's preferences and work schedule.
  2. Configure calendar settings as needed, considering the user's availability and time zone.

Saving Changes:

  1. Review all the information entered.
  2. Click on "Save" to create the new user account.
  3. The new user will receive an email with login details to access their Growth Map account.

Managing Users:

  1. As an admin, you can always revisit the user settings to update permissions, settings, or delete users if needed.
  2. Regularly review and adjust user permissions and settings to ensure smooth account management.

Additional Tips:

  • Utilize the available user roles (admin or user) effectively to delegate tasks and manage access permissions.
  • Encourage users to set up their profiles and preferences once they log in to personalize their account.
  • Document any changes made to user settings for future reference and auditing purposes.
  • Ensure that the user information entered is accurate to avoid login issues.
  • Be cautious when adjusting user permissions to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data.
  • Regularly review and update user settings to align with their current roles and responsibilities.
