Editing Templates and Messages

This guide explains how to edit email templates, SMS templates (snippets), individual messages, and bulk or feature-specific templates within your system.

1. Editing Email Templates


Path:

Marketing → Emails → Templates

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Marketing in the main menu.
  2. Select Emails, then click Templates.
  3. Locate the template you wish to edit.
  4. Click on the template name to open it.
  5. Make your desired changes, then save.

Tip: Use this area to adjust subject lines, layout, or merge fields for personalized email campaigns.


2. Editing SMS Templates (Snippets)


Path Options:

  • Option 1: Marketing → Snippets

  • Option 2 (Direct): Automation → Text Snippet

Steps:

  1. Go to one of the paths above.
  2. Locate the SMS template you want to modify.
  3. Click to open and edit the message text or variables.
  4. Save your changes.

Note: Text snippets are reusable short message templates for automations, campaigns, and direct messages.


3. Editing a Single Message


Path:

Contacts → [Select Contact] → Message Composer

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Contacts and find the contact you wish to message.
  2. Click to open their profile.
  3. In the message composer at the bottom, select either the Email or SMS tab.
  4. Type your message directly.
  5. (Optional) If you have a saved template, select it first, then edit it before sending.

Tip: This is useful for quick, one-off message customizations.


4. Editing Bulk Actions


Path:

Settings → Bulk Actions

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Bulk Actions from the menu.
  3. Locate the queued bulk action you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit to modify details.

Important:

  • For queued actions, full editing is available.
  • For processing actions, only the batch quantity can be changed.
