Steps to integrate Zoom or Google Meet for video conferencing
Connecting Zoom to GrowthMap™
To connect your Zoom account and auto-generate meeting links for video calls, follow these steps:
- Go to your Settings → My Profile and navigate to Calendar Settings section of the page
- Select the Video Conferencing tab
- Click the + Add New connections button
- Follow the prompts to connect your Zoom account
Connecting Google Meets to GrowthMap™
Follow the instructions to Connect your Google calendar to GrowthMap™ to make Google Meet an option as the Meeting Location in any of your GrowthMap™ Calendars.
How to set Zoom or Google Meet as the default Meeting Location
- In Calendars → Calendar Settings, select the calendar where you want to set up the video calls
- Edit the calendar, choose the meeting location, and select Google Meet or Zoom
- Save the settings, and any new appointments scheduled on that calendar will automatically generate the meeting link from the connected platform
Because Google Meet is a feature of Google Calendar, Google Meet will automatically be a working option as soon as you connect your User account to a Google Calendar.
However, if you prefer Zoom, you must first connect Zoom from the Settings → My Profile screen under Calendar Settings → Video Conferencing, before Zoom can be selected as an option when configuring the Meeting Details for a specific calendar.
